Report

Our sole activity is to give discretionary grants. Some of these are made directly to individuals, but most grants are made to other civil and public service charities and not-for-profit organizations that can help us achieve our charitable objectives.

Our income comes entirely from the annual donations of the profits of the Better Fund and investment income from our reserves. We maintain sufficient reserves to protect our existing individual beneficiaries for as long as they may need our help. We employ one member of staff, and the Trustees are unpaid but can claim reasonable expenses.
